About

Only in darkness can we glimpse the fullest light our soul carries for us
Angie Weiland-Crosby

I am a holistic counsellor and psychotherapist, certified with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) as a Clinical Counsellor. I provide psychodynamic and experiential psychotherapy and also practice as a grief and trauma counsellor with specialised experience in suicide bereavement.
I trained in process-oriented psychology – a psychodynamic approach with a grounding in Jungian philosophy – and undertaken further training specialising in grief, trauma and existential counselling.
My previous professional life has been dedicated to public health research and epidemiology. I have a long interest in mental health and an educational background in Psychology. While undertaking psychology studies, I found that I desired a different type of practice and was drawn to a holistic approach encompassing metaphysical awareness.
I work with adolescents, young adults and adult clients, to support a range of clinical issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, grief and bereavement, trauma and complex trauma, and existential crisis, as well as personal growth and self-evolution.
My approach is relational, gentle, compassionate, client-centered, and trauma-informed, seeking to enhance self-awareness, in support of self-worthiness, empowerment and overall health and wellbeing. I work with the relationship within the self, seeking integration of unconscious elements and healing of inner wounds.
